Bar Harbor, Maine--This is one of the many lighthouses we saw on the East Coast. We were on our way back from whale watching. It was pretty cool seeing Humpback whales and seals but kind of a one-time deal. Maine is quite the secret to everyone who doesn't live on the East Coast. Beautiful shorelines, great seafood, quaint homes and neighborhoods, lush green forests, and stunning views.

Boston, Massachusetts-- This is one cool town. Boston has to be my favorite city in the US. Its got history, depth, sights, feeling and pride. Everything about that city spills out American pride, history, and love. I am now a Red Sox fan after visiting Beantown. This is the best place to spend the 4th of July. Boston=everything American (well, since 1776ish).

Portland, Oregon- Oregon may be one of the prettiest places on earth. We drove through a dark, dense forest in order to view 7 or 8 300 ft waterfalls in a few mile span. The Columbia River Gorge is as stunning as any place in America.

Angel's Landing- Zion National Park-- This is one of the coolest hikes I've ever done. You wind your way several miles up to this incredible rock face which looks back through the canyon. You end up on this rock that juts back into the canyon to give you this one-of-a-kind view. For many of it, you have 1200 ft cliffs on both sides with a meter and a half of rock path to cling to. Mark, Camilla, and Haley made for fabulous company too.

Rothenburg, Germany- This picture almost gave my mom a heart attack. I am jumping here on a 700 year-old wall in the famous Medieval town of Rothenburg. There was an 80 foot drop on the other side but the wall is about 5 ft wide, perfect for not falling and a relatively soft landing. This is one of the coolest places in Europe (even though you can't see the rest of Rothenburg in this shot).

West Bank, Palestine. We have it easy here in the states. The West Bank, due to a variety of reasons, is falling apart economically and politically. The Middle East is fascinating and keeps the whole world on the edge of their seat.

The old streets of Jerusalem are quaint, dim, and filled with odd smells and weird sounds; but it doesn't get much better than that.

Burano, Italy- If only we had as much imagination in the color of our homes in the states. Arriving home in a fishing boat might help with imagination. As it has been said in many reviews, it would not be surprising if Burano was used as a theme for Disneyland.

Sienna, Italy- This is the famous horse stable through which James Bond chases that bad guy on Quantum of Solace in the opening scene. Matt and Spencer Wilcox and I had our own horse race in the town square. This is one cool town.
Volcanoes, smoke, ash, and a tiny little piece of mankind flirting awfully close with disaster off the coast of the Big Island. If it wasn't for the toxic fumes or small chance of touching lava, we would've gone swimming in a natural jacuzzi for all I know.

It would only be fitting if you could feel the heat through this photograph. I will never forget the first time I felt the African Sun.
Here is where worlds collide; a Corinthian-order Roman column with the Muslim Dome of the Rock atop the Temple Mount, all on Jewish Land. Let's share.
