The Spiral Jetty

The Spiral Jetty, Middle of Nowhere, The Great Salt Lake--One Saturday this past Spring we drove for hours to the infamous spiral jetty. It was awe inspiring and surreal and bizarre, all in one breath. A definite struggle for man's fingerprint to embed itself in nature. In the end, it was pretty cool. Check it out if you have an free afternoon and take a picnic.

Antelope Canyon

Antelope Canyon, Arizona--Alright, I've been pretty pathetic updating this blog but will be better I promise. This is a sweet sandstone canyon a stones throw from Lake Powell. Its on an Indian Reservation which poses its fun adventures in itself (driving out in a sandy river bed listening to rap music with our long-haired Indian guides). This canyon is only 100 yards long but every turn is so stunning and mesmerizing. Well-worth $25 bucks and 2 hours if you got the time at Lake Powell. (This is Pic goes out to Haley's camera.)
